EXTENSION TOURS
Harare
Day 01: Fly Dire Dawa; short visit of the town and then drive to Harar. Lunch. Afternoon part of Harar: the markets, mosques, tombs of sultanates, city walls. Evening the hyena man. ON Harar.
Day 02: Morning excursion to Babile, the valley of marvels. Visit also Sofi, with very particular Adere and Oromo people houses old more than 300 years; and chad cultivations. Afternoon remaining visits in Harar: the French poet Rimbaud’s old house, typical Adere people house, the basket production, and more. Meals and ON Harar.
Day 03: Drive to Awash Nat. Park. Visit Afar people villages and hot springs, different animals. ON Awash.
Day 04: Morning visit the Awash park: animals, the Awash River falls, the Awash River gorge. Cross Metahara Lake and visit on the way Kereyou people. Lunch on the way; so drive back Addis Ababa. ON Addis Ababa.
Day 05: Departure or could be done in the inverse way, before driving to Awash and at end flying back from DireDawa.
Rift Valley Lakes
Day 01: Shala, Abyata and Langano Rift Valley lakes, with birds, pelicans, flamingoes, hot springs and more. Continue then to Langanoe, secluded in a natural paradise for vegetation, birds, mammals and quietness, at Langano Lake. ON Langano.
Day 02: Drive to Awassa Lake and then continue for the hot springs, hot water swimming pools and forest (fantastic for walks) or Wondogenet. O/N hotel at Wondogenet.

Day 04: Drive to Awasa Lake for lunch and continue for the hot springs, hot water swimming pools and forest (fantastic for walks) of Wondogenet. ON hotel at WondoGenet (2-3*)
Day 05: Back to Addis Ababa. ON 4* hotel.
